Bandeng

Milkfish (Chanos chanos Forsskål) is a popular food fish in Southeast Asia. This fish is the only species that still exist in familia Chanidae (along with six additional genera have been reported yet extinct) [1]. They live in the Indian Ocean and Pacific Ocean and tend
group around coastal and island with coral reefs. Fish that newly hatched young and living at sea for 2-3 weeks, then move into mangrove swamps brackish water, and sometimes watery salty lakes. Milkfish just returned to the sea when it's mature and can reproduce.
Young fish (called larva [IPA: nənər]) was collected in person from the rivers and raised in ponds. There they can be given any food and grow rapidly. After quite large (usually about 25-30 cm) banding sold fresh or frozen. Milkfish processed by frying, baked, steamed,  or smoked.
