Esia get Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2011

JAKARTA - Esia again demonstrated achievement by winning 3 awards at the event Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2011. The third award is the Brand Equity Brand Champion for the Local category Esia, CDMA operators and CDMA Esia Wimode Data.

GM Brand Management PT Bakrie Telecom, Tbk Arvida Djajanegara revealed in his written statement, Esia achievement award shows, as a trademark of PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk amid tight competition in Indonesia's telecommunication industry. Esia innovation to enrich the content applications such as social media, as well as music and aimed at the youth segment, proved able to reinforce brand Esia as people's choice.

"Of course proud to be a major brand Esia people's choice, but this belief also requires our ability to continue to maintain and improve services, and communicate in a way that is simple and easily understood by the general public," said Arvida.

One of the strengths that continue to be maintained Esia is all about innovation. In the future, said Arvida, Esia will increasingly focus on strengthening the brand Esia by presenting content application which attracted many young segment of Indonesia.

The success of Esia awarded Indonesia Brand Champion Award 2011 is the result of research conducted by MarkPlus Insight. The purpose of this study include measuring the performance of brand mobile phones and gadgets and identify consumer attitudes and behavior toward products and services ICT (Information Communication & Telecommunication).

By taking the respondent more than 1,300 people in 6 major cities: Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang, Medan and Makassar, MarkPlus Insight did research for two months, namely in February and March 2011. (ASW)
